Taking to the social media handles, Chinmay Mandlekar has shared the pictures from the Mahurat event of their film.

Digpal Lanjekar's directorial Jungjauhar is produced under the banner of Almonds Creations.  Ajay Arekar and Aniruddha Arekar have produced the film. The team has taken up the responsibility to narrate the real story with accurate detailing to keep the integrity of the Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s legacy alive. This is why the entire team sought the blessings of this late Maratha King at his capital fortress Raigad.

After Farzand and Fatteshikast, this film will unveil the most iconic chapter of the Maratha Industry. Jung Jauhar is a golden chapter of the Swarajya. This story is based on the Pavan Khind chapter. Baji Prabhu Deshpande was a commander in the army of  Shivaji Maharaj who was a master of the art of using a weapon called "Dand Patta". Baji and his brother Phulaji with their  300 men blocked the pass of Pavan Khind for the safe retreat of their king Shivaji Maharaj to the Vishalgad. They fought against 10000 Bijapuri soldiers in the Ghodkhind Pass for more than 18 hours. Baji was grievously injured but continued fighting and inspiring his troops until Shivaji Maharaj safely reached Vishalgadh and fired three cannon volleys to signal safe arrival.
